I graduated from Loughborough University in 2005 with a 2:1 BSc (Hons) in Sports Science with Management, I then went on to complete my PGCE in PE at Loughborough University in 2006.

I previously worked at Woodbrook Vale High School in Loughborough teaching PE.

I joined Thurrock SSP as a full time SSCo in January 2007 and in September 2010 I took over as Partnership Development Manager.

With changes in Government Funding for School Sports Partnership and the redundancy of the PDM role I took on the new role of School Games Organiser in 2011.  I now teach 2 days a week at William Edwards School alongside my 3 day SGO role.

After leaving School in 1999, I went on to study Sports Science, to pursue a career in the sport and the fitness industry. I obtained a number of Sporting qualifications from Fitness Instructor, Personal training and Health and Nutrician, as well as coaching qualifications in a variety of sports, Including Cricket, Basketball and Football. 

In 2002, I Secured my first job in education, working at Chafford Hundred Campus (CHC) as a member of the PE department. This soon evolved into Primary School sports teaching, working at the Primary of CHC for 5 years. Jobs at Kenningtons, Deneholm and Harris Primary Chafford Hundred soon followed, as well as, a short time at Gateway Primary Free School. 

I had worked for the Thurrock SSP back in 2012 as an SSCO and later returned in 2022 as an events Co-Ordinator, a role I continue to do, to this present day. 

In 2022, I started my own sports coaching company, called High Class Sport LTD, so to this day, I still teach in a number of Primary Schools within the County and I do this around my work with Thurrock SSP.

I played Hockey for Leicester county many moons ago and have an NNEB diploma in childcare.

Have had interactions with the SSP since 2019 with Harris Primary Chafford Hundred & now supporting Alexa & Greg with the running of SSP events.

I currently work in an opticians and a residential home for adults with neurological injuries.
